Title: Pewter and lead slug mix

Hi
I'm quite new to slug swageing and casting.
And I have a mp molds 35g slug mold similar to the altros  3 band slugs.
Is it possible to mix pewter with pure lead to reduce the weight of the slug.
And how much would it alter the bhn say in a 60/40 mix.
I'm curious to know if it can work  as 35g is abit on the heavy side for me but I like the slug shape just not the weight.
Any help is greatly appreciated

In my opinion, the added tin would make it too hard.

Pure lead is the way to go.
