Used Amazon for similar or same and payed 10 bucks more. If it is the same unit, I can say it works well.
-
Theres like a 20 page thread on this chrono and its brother already, but yes they're pretty effective for the price.
Here it is: https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=151661.0 (https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=151661.0)

That was the first Chrono I bought. Was a tough thing as it took 6 accidental hits to kill the thing. It seemed accurate.
-
I bought one a couple of years ago from Amazon for $30, it only measured in meters per second. Then I found one (also on Amazon) that can measure meters or feet per second. Now I have both.
Note that the charger cord has the charger built-in.

Looking at the pictures it appears as if this particular model does not have any way to mount it to thebarrel.
If that is important to you there are plenty more out there

There are two main types of these chronos—barrel mounted and tripod mounted.
Tripod mounted has many aficionados although imo the window for the pellet is quite small and the chances for damage are quite high.
Barrel mounted ones seem much better but I’m fairly certain they can’t handle big bores or anything that has a bigger blast of air. I don’t know that I’d want to use the tripod mounted one with a big bore either though!
-
I like the barrel mounted one. It's the only crony that I never shot! ☹
-
I tried to order that same chronograph from that same vendor earlier this year. I was immediately charged of course but after 10 days of no movement I cancelled the order. It's bad enough you have to wait 6-8 weeks to usually get your item from ali and, at least for me, there's a high potential for the package to be lost or stolen (disappears at customs). It took a few days but I did get my money back. That was my last straw for aliexpress, too many problems with them these days. I do still want a cheap chrono for basement tuning, might have to try bozos.
Just my experience...

Not a big bore, but a pretty good blast of air.
Yesterday mine handled 36 shots from my Sumatra 25 carbine.
The range was 58 to 80 ft/lb

Mine was taken right off the barrel of a Texan LSS .50 caliber :( Crashed to the ground and split into multiple pieces. It’ll still work if I can solder the battery contacts back on.
-
I did use my clamp on to test some slug velocities with my Wing Shot, I did use some rubber to add traction, and made sure the slug would clear the LEDs. worked just fine, and still does. Never had the bright idea of trying a shot shell, but from my close range test they do stay in the shell most of the time out to 5 yards ???

I'm happy with my Pro Chrono Digital w/bluetooth. It connects great with the Tablet 10.2 and the Digital Link software has good features. She calls out speeds so I don't even have to look during my shooting string. It's great to log and store data in files for each gun.
I have considered one of those FX barrel mount deals but I can't justify the cost. I do most of my shooting from the Red Shed at home and I'm all set for that with the PCD.
-
I wouldn't want anything connected to the barrel. Most of the rifles I work on are break barrels and attaching the chrono to the barrel is a recipe for disaster.
Also after I tune an airgun I'll chronograph the entire quality and accuracy check. Often taking 500 shots or more. I need a good tripod mounted chronograph. The chronograph is the single most important piece of diagnostic equipment. It's worth buying the best you can afford if you work on your airguns.
I may get into handloading powder burners. For that I'll get a Lab Radar.
-
I ordered one today.
I have had the barrel mounted one for a long time and it works good.
Being mounted to the barrel it changes the point of impact of the pellet.
I think I can shoot groups with this one while getting the pellet velocity.
They have raised the price to $29.84.

I swapped my fluorescent lights with LED's in my basement last year and just tried my Chrony F1. Gave error immediately but is working with the shades now, at least it read a few shots. Always an option if you have a chronograph that wasn't working with your existing lighting. There's a good thread here somewhere on using LED lights for using a chronograph indoors, that's what gave me the idea to give it a try instead of ordering more chin junk.
I used to have the Pro Chrono but my brother absconded with it so I bought the Shooting Chrony for the compactness. I regret that decision. The Prop Chrono was much more dependable and seemed to work in any light. This Chrony I have gives errors or doesn't read the shot way too often.
-
I have the light kit on my PC and never miss a shot. I've even used it at night with very little lighting.
-
I got this for about 10 bucks more and it works very well. I got the one with voice and wifi. They have ones without those features for $23

That's pretty cool for the $$$. Nice screen. What does wifi connection do for you? Saves data on phone somehow?
I noticed in the video that "Shanghai Siri" was rounding the numbers off, and not rounding .5 up up. Not a big deal if the full data is stored and reviewable though.
-
“If you buy ‘with WiFi Edition', you can view data through your mobile phone, computer, etc
If you buy 'with voice version', there will be an initial speed of voice broadcast for each shooting, which can be turned on or off.”
-
I can't stop laughing at 'shanghai siri'

By any chance would anyone have the English instructions, I don't read Chinese.
I thought I had the English instruction on how to change mode and set it to operate,
but I can't find it now.

ALERT!!! I may have been scammed.
I ordered this.
AliExpress said it was shipped.
Paypal charged me $27.13.
My order information has disappeared from the AliExpress website.
-
I've heard both good and horror stories from folks dealing with Ali Express. Just enough to keep me from ordering from them. I'm retired now and really enjoy the stress free life.. I can't find any reason to mess that up.

I got my clamp on out to test the New Dragon fly II rifle, to get a base line etc,
and could not remember how to use it, I sure like using it and it seems just as accurate and the Magneto chrono.
This is the second rifle I could not fit the Magneto on, the other one was my Dan's which are also pumpers..........
I found these instructions for use on the clamp on meter here:
https://www.amazon.com/aikeec-Precision-Ballistic-Chronograph-Chargeable/dp/B0823M5M6M/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_pl_foot_top?ie=UTF8 (https://www.amazon.com/aikeec-Precision-Ballistic-Chronograph-Chargeable/dp/B0823M5M6M/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_pl_foot_top?ie=UTF8)
About half way down the page.
I have it saved now............LOL

Ali Express says my order will be delivered to me.
They had a wrong email address for me.
They gave me the tracking site to go to.
I have ordered 3 times from Ali Express with no problems.
This is the 4th order.

It's not so much the negative stories that puts the bitter taste in my mouth as it is how long it takes to receive what you order. Heck, you hear bad things about virtually all vendors. I just don't have the patience to wait 4 - 8 weeks for something.
Remember when we were kids and saved up the box tops? "Please allow 6 - 8 weeks for delivery".

Now that you’re retired though, you have all the time in the world! ;) :D :P

True that but my lack of patience seems to be working overtime... ::)
-
It’s like that saying, we can have it fast, cheap, good. Pick two.
-
FYI... not the case with that SVBONY scope listed in the Bargain Gate..
It is fast, cheap and good.
-
Yep! I have it on my SAM but haven’t used it very much yet.
-
I just got mine this morning and put it on the .22 FD-PCP. Great match up.
Cheap scope on acheap gun that shoots cheap pellets well.
But don't tell the gun that... it thinks it's much better than that. ;)

This chronograph that I ordered on March 15 was delivered on March 23.
8 days from China to Lexington, KY.
It has instructions in English.
I am happy with AliExpress.
