Patron saint of quirky PCP guns here. My .22 Maximathor needed a playmate so I took a risk on this Logun MK2 Professional in .22 from AoA. Came to me empty. Can’t get it to fill using FX fill probe which is what AoA said it needed. Does anyone know if this is the correct fill probe? I know a lot of Loguns were made by FX but this one I believe was UK made. Have also heard they’re difficult to refill when emptied so if anyone has tricks would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Can you please post a picture of the fill end of the Logan and your prob. I think it is basically the same set up my venom viper. I will post pics at lunch. I think the tarantula and it’s variants are the same but could be wrong.
Make sure to cock the rifle when trying to fill. And yeas sometimes the take a bit of a quick blast to get started.
If this Logan came from the same collection as the stuff I bought from AOA chances are it needs a rebuild. I don’t think they had been touched in a long time. The stuff I bought the seals had all turned to plastic yeas ago.

Here you go, with part number. Looks similar and AoA told me all the FX probes are the same. Thanks for the measurements, will see how they match up. Probe has just slight resistance when pushed in. Much different than the Maximathor which is very tight, but I don’t know anything about how an FX probe should fit. I assume AoA filled and tested before they posted for sale so waiting to hear from them what probe they used. I can order the OEM probe from the UK, but if this probe should work and doesn’t we might have something else going on.
Edit: Diameter is the same but my probe seems to be about 0.6 mm longer from shoulder to tip. Probe inserts all the way to the collar but doesn’t ever “click” into place.

Talked to AoA. They resealed this one before posting for sale. Something obviously didn’t take since it was empty when it got to me. Sent me a UPS label, shipping back and they’re going to repair and test for a few days before returning. And make sure which fill probe works with it. Good peeps. Looking forward to shooting this, stay tuned.

Sweet! I should have sent the AZ modified Styer pistol back to them. It lasted three days before leaking like a submarine with a screen door. ;D But I bought it assuming that was going to happen so all good.
