There seem to be some good deals on Umarex and Hatsan airguns at Field Supply for the next two days.

$74 Ruger 10/22 is awfully tempting...

Yeah, I was looking at the 10/22 as well. Cool little rifle. Saw it on sale at Walmart and tractor supply a couple times but for some reason they wouldn't ship it to my zip code.
I watched a couple of YouTube videos on the rifle, looks like a lot of fun. Have to think on this one :)

Rugger 1022 is well worth the sale price, I was able to modify real 1022 threaded muzzle adapter and have flash suppressor and silencer adapter to 1/2 20. Scope rail is also a direct fit. 8) Dime sized 10 yard 10 shot groups easy when in single action. 8)
I do not think I have taken any pics of it in final setup yet~> Bad Back_Roads ;D

Had to look further, seems like a deal for most anyone that does not have all of them already ;) still tempted to get something anyway ;D 8)

I'm drawn in even more by the allure of customizing with the swap in aperture sights from Tech Sights. Those things are sweet.

Here is a link to a full tear down of the 1022 https://www.airgunforum.ca/forums/topic85962.html (https://www.airgunforum.ca/forums/topic85962.html)

I am in the apparent minority that did not care for the 10/22. The main problem was the CO2 system- it's a little goofy to load, which is fine, but it also makes the rifle EXTREMELY rear-heavy and allows the stock to shift a little when you snug it into your shoulder, both of which bothered me a lot. The double action trigger also leaves a lot to be desired and the single action trigger in no way resembles a PB 10/22. It does look pretty neat and it's cool that you can use 10/22 accessories on it.
But for this price you can probably buy one to try and if you don't like it sell it and make a small profit. I think that's what I did.
Edit: I just remembered you also have to either use the Umarex CO2 carts or put a dime between the carts if you want to use Crosman ones. Not a huge deal, just one more little thing about it I didn't care for.
