I have a very smart 5YO German Shepard dog, named "SAGE", just think "Dennis, The Menace"
and you have a perfect picture of him, he HAS to have his nose into everything
and saying "NO" to him is like talking to the wall, and he KNOWS what "NO" means.
I got out my Gauntlet Gen 1 and was still holding air after several months of being locked up,
I learned it against the bench that is notched to hold rifles, and along come Sage and his big nose.
He proceeds to knock it over, it lands bottle down on the tile floor,
and I hear a "Crack", upon checking my rifle, after chewing Sage a new one..........LOL,
he just stands there and lowers his ears while I am chewing he out, then as soon as I stop
he perks up and give me that "Are you done look", wags his tail, and looks at me, like sorry Boss etc etc.
I can't find any thing wrong with the Gauntlet, I heard a cracking sound,
I go over the rifle again with a fine toothed comb and then I find the problem.
I had bought (several yrs ago), a printed band that went around the bbl and bottle
and has the weaver type four lug scope base for attaching a bipod etc,
the cracking sound was the printed band that went around the 13 CI bottle,
is broken right where this band attaches to the bbl ring, about 1/8" thick and 1/4" wide,
with some type of black plastic material (unknown to me what type).
Am I SOL, as far as gluing this back together using a Super glue/PVC cement etc.
I have NO Idea where I bought it from etc.
And NO, I can't sell Sage, as the better half will sell me, it's her dog.
Your thoughts and suggestions...........

If you have any MEK thinner floating around, take a small paint brush or something and try that, if you don't have MEK, if you have a hobby store that does model trains around go to that aisle and look for a little glass bottle of "Plastruct", it's just MEK in a brush in cap bottle for like $8 but for ABS and other similar plastics it's a miracle glue... it breaks down the plastic and when it dries it's like it was never broken...

There's the rub. Some printable plastics don't glue very well, and not knowing the plastic type, the type of glue to try is a crapshoot. Try the MEK, it it works, you've essentially welded it back together. If MEK has no effect, superglue may be a good second try.
If you can send me a picture with dimensions, I may be able to recreate and print it.

I gladly take a half dozen of those cats, I think they are COOL,
and maybe Sage could have a play toy, for a while,
But with Chance around, they wouldn't stand a chance............LOL

Hey Don... FYI... he does recommend NOT putting a bipod on the bottom of it.... if that matters to you.
He suggests the pica rail is for flashlights and lasers only.

I have been using JB Weld, Plastic Bonder on all my plastic needs for a few yrs now with great results. It says it works on Thermoset, Carbon fiber & Thermoplastics. Strength 3770 psi.

MEK is part of the stink in PVC cement, so yes :)
