Title: Air Venturi Avenger regulator
Post by: Woody.22 on January 14, 2023, 04:11:27 PM
I just got an Air venturi avenger and the reg is set to 1900 psi but when I let the gun sit for over an hour the regulator pressure rises I let it set for 2 hours and it went from 1900 to around  2300 psi, I was wondering what would cause this.

Make sure you read the manual before adjusting the reg. You can increase without degassing but you can't decrease without degassing the gun.
Sometimes the gun just need to be used for the reg to settle in and become stable. If it does not, you may want to return it for another one.

It may be like you said, it's just  because it's new, it goes back to 1900 when I shoot it but once I let it sit is when it creeps back up.

Hey brother mine does that too. As long as it’s consistent I wouldn’t worry. Run a string through a chronograph and see

If anything back off the hammer spring a little, if shots are up and down in velocity through a shot string.
