I've been kicking around the idea of setting up a website for reference documents, how to info, parts order info, videos, model links, etc.... There is a lot of great info on Daisy's spread all over but it's hard to find a lot of it. As an example being able to see a lot number on a 880 barrel shroud and be able to look up whether it's a clamped barrel or pressed barrel would be great. That info is out there but not easy to find. That might save someone from buying a gun for instance on ebay that is not what they thought it was. There are a lot of knowledgeable people here that can contribute especially on the different model Daisy's. GTA has a great thing going here with the forum so I'm thinking a knowledgeable repository not anything like a forum, but people could submit articles or other info to be included. I've seen good info posted about 35s, Red Riders, 853s, etc....
So if this website happens what should it be called?

Seems cool but the juice may not be worth the squeeze.

I would like to include all Daisy's. My knowledge is limited to the 880 and all its variations, but any thing Daisy is the idea. I'm hoping to get input from the community for info on all the Daisy models. I'm going to set the site up using WordPress and would like to find an additional person or few that have experience and are willing to help admin the site. My idea is provide history, make model year info, modify and repair info videos etc... and links to parts sources, etc... I'll build and manage the site but am open to adding admins.

The site is up. I have a development version in staging. When it is ready I'll push live. In the meantime I have and under construction covet page.

The link works and I will be checking back now and then. I loved a few Daisy(s) when I was younger. Most of them were air guns. ;)
