Had this laying around for a few years but could not shoot in the backyard as it was a little too loud. Then I found Buck and Rail had an adaptor and a threaded LCD. Much better now.

Nice Steve, looks good! Any accuracy or velocity info?

Rifled barrel with Crosman 760 valve. Shot it over a Chrony long time ago lost the Data. Will have to shoot another string soon. Use the same clips as the 760.

Chronograph information. Owner's manual says maximum number of pumps are 10. Guess that's how they got 625 fps with pellets. My maximum was 8 pumps. JSB 7.89 gr. 8 pumps get's to 500 fps. about 4.4 ft. pounds.

Looks good, but your faux magazine and front sight are backwards.
I loved my m417, but it only lasted a few months before the stock broke and some other things at the front end broke
Maybe the early m417 was flawed and they corrected all those issues before changing to the m4177 ?

Thanks David. Can't recall ever taking the magazine out. This gun has only been shot what I posted so maybe this one will break also. I really do not intend to shoot it much.

I have searched and could never turn up another report of one breaking like mine did, so you probably don't have to worry.
Mine was one of the very earliest examples from I think 2010 or 2011, when they first came out and called the m417 before that was changed to m4177.
