Today I received a Banjamin Legacy .177cal that I won at auction.
Looks like a break barrel action in a Crosman 2260 or Benji Disco stock.
Looks darn near new!
Rated at 1000fps w/alloy pellets; Tom Gaylord tested at 900+ w/7.9gr, for 13+fpe in .177.
Pretty smooth cocking, and it kicks like a mule!

Not a bad gun, I did have to add an LDC with barrel stabilizer, does well with 10.5 gr crosman domed pellets and the like. Have taken starlings out to 40 yards with mine. Not sure if there is a trigger mod but I got used to it... Sorta > :)

If it's a break barrel of the B18 / B19 lineage as are many of their springers and "Nitro Piston" models they will accept the GRT III from charliedatuna.com. Members of that family will also accept the entire Nitro Piston II trigger pack which can then be tweaked quite a bit. Of course the newer Nitro Piston II guns already have that trigger pack.

Oh it's the break barrel I was thinking Legacy 1000 multi pump . :-[

These guns have the early Crosman CBT (Clean Break Trigger), easy to improve if needed. They were also touted as being ''made in America''.
Mine has very good barrel and trigger, accuracy is superb! Please post pics if you can.

Mine looks just like yours, except without the box..........

Then you shall have a good gun!
These guns have a weird seal size, it's 1 9/64''. It's close to 29 mm in size, that's nothing standard. Hope yours is is good condition!
Here's a pic of the trigger in pieces:

Crosman has "plenty in stock" of the piston seal.

Anybody know of a source for main springs? Mine is a bit tweaked but I was unable to source a replacement or find any info on converting it to Nitro so I put it back into the rifle. I much prefer the Nitro piston, way smoother and easier to shoot.

Did you try Crosman ? Part # CRS5177A011
It could possibly be converted to an NP ram, dunno what would be required,tho....

Yup, Crosman was OOS when I tried last year (or two years ago, I forget). The gentleman on the phone said they've been out of stock for a long time, that's why I was wondering about a source. My Titan is such a smoother shooting rifle I really wanted to convert the Legacy but have been unable to find any info on doing it.

You should jump in with both feet and be the first!

I thought about it but I have two major hurdles. I went to the dark side so the piston guns sit and I have no time, in fact I've only shot my air rifles twice this year. I have several Crosman lego guns in various stages of completion I was hoping to finish up last winter and now I'm hoping to those this winter. So too many other projects in front of a gun I've mostly interest in but maybe some day.
