Title: Theoben stock screw
Post by: KWK on October 12, 2022, 01:34:50 AM
I bought a used Theoben Sirocco Deluxe and found it has a buggered stock screw so I made a new one. I can't stand buggered screws. This one isn't seen. The trigger guard hides it but you know.

Set up on my vertical Enco with a slitting saw. I wish I had my little Burke horizontal running but I'm replacing the feed screws so I can't use it now. Finished off with some cold blue.

That's very nice work!

I too have a hard time with buggered screws, I fully understand the ''...but you know'' part ;D.

Just keep the cold blued parts well oiled, as they ''catch'' rust easier than hot-salts blued parts ;).
