Looking to make a few adjustments, tunes, or upgrades to my Daisy 1000. Number on breech block is 0306 14768 and says made in turkey.
It’s the synthetic stock. Anyone know where I can get some wood furniture for this?
Second, any lower priced scopes that can survive this thing?
Looking to improve the trigger a bit. Based off of searches it’s not a Quattro trigger from what I am reading, and looking like spring and screw change and some polishing is the only possible mod on that.
Also looking to calm the recoil/twang a bit. Any insight is appreciated
Any other tips tricks or mods I should consider?

I have a Winchester 1000, nice woods stock. Same gun as a Daisy 1000. Had a Daisy 1000, also plastic stock. I also have a Winchester 800, same gun smaller spring, came in an ugly small wood stock. FYI: Win. 1000, 0207 16817. Win. 800, 0407 15410.
Don't take that trigger apart unless you know what you're doing. On the Daisy it took me 3 or 4, 2 hour sessions over 2 or 3 weeks to get it back together. After about 40 shots it broke again. Never again. Parts bin.
Daisy got these guns made by Hatsan for themselves and Winchester. I ordered from Dasiy the Winchester wood stockfor the Daisy. When it broke the wood stock went on the 800.
You have to remove the trigger to get in spring, piston and seal out. If the gun shoots okay I wouldn't bother. Not much you can do to the trigger anyway.
Maybe try 'Tune in a Tube' grease you can apply to the spring from the outside. But I'm never really bothered by twang. Tin ear I guess and in and of itself I don't believe twang ever made me miss. Seems to me a compressed spring unloading is suppose to twang.
The Win. 1000 and 800 were made in Brazil for awhile. The Win. 1100 and Daisy 1101 are made in China and are a different gun. Trigger is similar but different. Stock screws go in at an upper angle instead of straight in like on the Turkish guns and the rear stock screw on the Chinese guns is in front of the trigger and behind the trigger on the Turkey guns.

I have a couple Wood Stocks that fit your Gun here.
PM me for more info and pictures.

Sorry, guys. That stock want work with a Turkish made Daisy 1000. With a Daisy 1000 as well as a Winchester 1000 the front stock screws go straight in 90 degress to the side of the stock. The front stock screw hole in the stock in the picture go in at an upward angle. Not sure what that stock is for. It does not look like a Air Hawk or Optimus stock.
Another difference in the guns is on the Turkish made Winchester and Daisy 1000's is the rear stock screw goes in behind the trigger. On the Chinese made Winchester 1100 and Daisy 1101 the rear stock screw goes in, in front of the trigger.

Anybody have the specs for the mainsprings in these??
Mu 600 is shooting 7.87gr Daisy wad cutters at only 540fps. Seems a bit low.
I wanna upgrade my 800 to 1000 specs...never satisfied........
-
Yes. That Stock is the WRONG ONE! It's for a Crosman Quest 1000.
My bad. Here's the correct Stock.
And I can provide a 1000 Spring if you want it.
-
Now. Here's another interesting fact.
The Winchester 1000 WILL fit in a Hatsan Mod 95 stock.
You'd need to drill new front mount holes about 1" forward but it will work.
You want pictures? I can do that.
-
Here you go! Winchester 1000 in a Hatsan Mod 95 Stock!
Drill holes about 1" forward on the Mod 95 stock and your Golden.
You could cut the forward bit of stock back a bit if you wanted but that's the next option.

This is what my Win. 800 came in. It's in the parts bin. As I said I ordered a Win. 1000 stock from Daisy for a Daisy 1000. It broke so I got the 800 in that stock.

That's good stuff to know.
-
Yeah. The Hatsan Stocks are nice for the most part. So you drill about 1" forward and plug the original mount holes.
The Mod 95 stocks are easy to get and actually a nicer stock.
The rear trigger guard hole lines up perfectly so that is not an issue!
-
Here's the forward Stock area with the Winchester 1000 mounted in it.
So you coud cut this whole area back and refine it.
Infact? You'd have to cut the end off to clear the stock sights.

I have an 800 and a 1000
BOTH were made in Turkey.
The 1000 rear stock screw is behind the trigger, accessible thru a hole in the trigger guard.
The 800 rear stock screw is in front of the trigger, and no such hole in the TG....
And, I have a Buffalo nickel on which the buffalo faces to the left........

WTH does a Nickel have to do with anything?
::)

You woulda have to have been a fan of the Andy Griffith Show to get that one..... ;) ;)

I saw somewhere a guy made new screw holes in a stock and he filled the old holes with shiny dimes. Very cool looking.

That is interesting. I did a little reseach and found some Win. and Daisy 800X in the same looking stock as Jeff showed with the grooves on the forestock but the trigger guard is as you describe , no hole in the trigger guard. One site showed the same thing and said they were made in China until 2015 and parts were not interchangeable with the Turkish or Brazilian guns. That's neat, learn something new everyday. Can you show pictures of it or are you like, pic challenged.

Been gone all day, just got home. Ain't that something. My Hatsan made Win. 1000 came in a full size stock that covered the barrel block and cocking linkage. M Turkey Win. 800 came in the stock and trigger guard you show as your 1000 the top one. Later I switched the 800 to the 1000 stock I ordered for my broke Daisy 1000.
I'd like to have a Brazilian one just to see the difference.
-
Alright how can I get that 1000 stock or anyone know where I can pickup a 95 stock? Didn’t find any listed online during my searches.
-
My 800 stock is around here somewhere. It's like the one in Ron's pic with his 1000. PM me an address and you can have it. Not sure I have a trigger guard. I might find a trigger guard for it. Can't remember, but is the trigger guard on your plastic stock a separte piece or part of the of the whole.
-
Found the wood Winchester 800 stock and the trigger guard was on it. As I said my Winchester 800 came in it and is now in a 1000 stock so your 1000 should will fit. I'll mail soon as I can.
And I'm tickled I found a Beeman RS2 wood stock also. I been want a Beeman RS2 dual cal springer with the satin/stainless finish but in wood and the nylon case Beeman has for them. Found a 1077SC. SC being for synthetic stock and case and it's a springer. But the onl Beeman RS2 wood stock I could find guy wanted $92 plus $42 shipping. So finding this one saves $130. Going to order the gun and start stripping and sanding the stock. Thinking light oak color. Might be able to use the recoil pad of the plastic stock. This one is not that nice looking. Maybe I have a white spacer in the parts pile for it.

I have a Beeman Dual cal action with the .177 barrel in silver, sans stock, it is a NP version and the stock screw holes may need to be moved ??? FREE just pay shipping.
