I have used PayPal practically as my bank for my business the last 8 years. They have progressively turned into a company that is essentially "anti me" . On top of other issues, they recently announced that they will take money from your account of you are found to spread "misinformation " . So today, along with thousands of other Americans i canceled my account.
There is a new payment gateway im going to give a chance called Glorifi. They claim to be pro freedom of speech, pro 2A , and pro American values. Im going to support this and see what becomes of it.

I dumped pp when they screwed a friend over.
Been thinking about Zelle. I will give Glorifi a look.
-
It appears they released it in error in their back pedaling release saying it was a mistake after fall out.

I have received several "policy update" emails from PP and frankly, I'm sick and tired of their controlling, biased and restrictive policies. If another way is found to allow purchases on-line, I'm all for it!

I’d like to know how in the heck does PayPal think they’re entitled to issue any penalties for what they deem disinformation?
How many times has “disinformation” been proven to actually be the truth?
I’ll not get political even though this is a serious issue IMO.

Watching for possible alternatives, PP shut down my account after I made my fifth use of it-first for a HM accurized scope mount, then two purchases for digital music, then I made the big mistake that got me shut down-I purchased an online pistol shooting course that stresses safety/responsible ownership more than anything (LMBO here) from the NRA... WHAM, shut down ::)
Actually wasn't against the rules (I read them); but haven't yet gotten around to clearing it up; as personally I don't give a flying spitwad...
Ugh... :P

PayPal is still listed as a method to make a donation to the NRA.

Interesting since they are clearly anti 2nd Amendment.
Now that they got considerable blow back on their attempt to infringe on 1st Amendment rights, they backpedal. “It was a mistake”.
Perhaps they got more than they bargained for or this was to test the waters to see people’s reaction?

PayPal meets my personal needs and until the day that it doesn't I will continue using it.
It's unfortunate that others have had issues.

I'm another one who recently dumped them.
