My printer is in the basement. Now I have the humidity down to less then 50% but a different issue popped up.
I'm pretty sure a bit of spider web or something got on my filament and caused problems.
So along with another vaccuming of the area? I'm gonna build an enclosure over the whole area!
That area is large enough for 3 printers.
Filament will eventually be fed from dry boxes on a shelf next to the enclosure.

I just bought an Elegoo Mars 3 resin printer and also making an enclosre for it. I have tried a few times to enclose my Ender printers.
There is an Ikea table that stradles the printer nicely. The Ikea Lack is the name. There are a ton of threads about it on the printing forums. Maybe I will revisit that. Post pics as you make your enclosure ? I need all the motivation I can get on these things.

That's why I have a wipe on mine.

I found out the hard way. Being new to 3D printing that's usually how it happens right?
;D
So I figured out it's gotta be a spider web dropped on the filament, got fed in and burned into the nozzle.
What I plan to do is use some metal framing from an old canopy I have here.
Then probably use 1/4" panels screwed into that as a start. Mostly cover the overhead and vaccum more often for spiders.

And you failed to warn me???
Let's see that wipe you Slacker!
;D

Thought I did. It's a tiny binder clip with some paper towel in it.
Do not use a magic eraser.
-
Once I do the Dry Boxes they will be run through tubing from the shelf to the printer so gonna cut that issue down.
-
History repeats itself ... another computer bug shuts down progress ;D

This was the Lack mod that may have some potential.

That looks really nice! My printer is still unboxed, only the good Lord knows when I'll set it up. The positive side is that I have no printing issues ;D

Moved stuff so I could get the table nearer the shelf, then used WMSD (Weapons of Mass Spider Destruction) all over the basement.
I'll do a good vaccum job and then start setting up the cover. It's an old canopy. Still checking for some parts for it.

Well, since spider silk is stronger than steel, my question would be, how did it print? Maybe a new profile in CURA and a well fed spider farm may be the way to go.
-
That may not be as far fetched as one may think.
2010. Goats were breed that produce Spider silk.
2015. Spiders exposed to carbon nanotubes and graphene produced a silk roughly 3 times stronger. Producing a silk stronger than any known fiber.

1 of my printers is a makergear M2, had built an enclosure turned out to heavy. Was at dump and noticed a few college type fridges. Brought one home. Had to take the liner/plastic ot. Cut down the insulation. Cut and opening in the door and ad plexiglass. Going to ad same thing to side towards desk. Filament in a sealed container and drilled thru top and add some connectors so filament feeds to both hotends without be open to any air. Added 12v power supply in back for lights, fans, cameras and PI. Still not finished.
My Saturn resin just built a box with door and lift top.

Nice David! Pump up your post count and give us some pictures if you will.
My table is large enough for 3 printers easy. Maybe 4.
I want to just do a single cover for the whole area.

1) steel storage rack
2) double shelfs bolted together for depth
3) reinforce w/ plywood maybe bolt to wall
4) print some press fit hinges for acrylic
5) air recirculation/filter

Only about 8 months later. Here's my cabinet from a Small Frig I picked up from dump. Not finished just yet and messy, but hope
