Are the HTAC 3d printed Impact magazines good?
The answer is absolutely.
I was contacted by Tony of Hunter Tactical recently after he had saw me here at AGN with my youtube channel. He politely asked me if I was interested to try out his newly innovative design of 3d printed Impact magazines.
I was glad I accepted his offer because his magazines are well designed and simple to use. His Gen2 version that I first received didn't fit in my Impact but he quickly refined and shipped me the Gen 3.1 version. I tested in the field this past week and it functioned perfectly without any jamming of the pellets or slugs.
In my past experience, as most of you might have encountered as well that some shorter slugs would tip over and jam inside the original Sideshot magazines. I had to buy the Orion's special designed inserts in order to shoot the H&N 23gr slugs that I used in my Impact. You can even order different lids to fit the size of ammo you are shooting plus you can have him engrave your name on the magazine. How cool is that?
Now Tony has come up with this alternative option where we can save money and have a product that works.
Check him out and see for your self if you are in the market for extra Impact magazines. He carries .22, .25 and even .30.
