Checking if anyone knows of any reliable tuners for an Evanix Sniper X2k. Not looking to make a raging firebreather, just looking to get my FPE up from 87 to the 130-140 range. Seems like its mostly porting the usual suspects for better airflow.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I think Niel Clague tunes Evanix rifles
-
Oh? Well now, that would be a treat! Thanks sfttail!
I'll drop him a line.
-
He made me two LDC ( noise reducers )for my .22 and .25 Rainstorm II rifles. Very effective as in Mouse fart quiet
-
yes, I'm a big fan of his products. I've had his LDCs on my Winchester and my Sumatra (which both got stolen), and then I have them on my Bullboss and my Pitbull.
I need to get the factory shroud off my X2k; after that I'll be requesting for his work again. Now if he also tunes Evanix rifles, then that would be awesome. I can just send him the rifle.

Veradium air would be another good option - they are doing work in a rex valve for me.
Also airgun pro shop

Oooh...very nice! Thanks Mr.P!
Wait...airgun pro? As in Rick Eustler? Huh...that's interesting. Never knew he had a tuning service. Nice. 8)

Also Saddle Mountain
Isn't Saddle Mountain Will Piatt who is no longer amongst the living?
-
IDK if the shop is still in operation but you are right :-[ :-[.
-
His kids may be taking up the tuning services. I have not checked that though.
-
truly unfortunate that we lost Will. :(
On a closing note, I reached out to Veradium Air, and they will be doing some tuning services for the Sniper. They're also going to add a longer barrel. According to them, I should be getting around 280FPE after their work is done.
I really don't think I'll be going into that range, as I'll be more than happy at 140FPE. Nice to know that I can crank it up that far, but I'll save that only for when godzilla wakes up. Or Kong decides to be a misfit. ;D
Again, thank you guys so much for your recommendations!
very best,
paul

I’m not saying that he does tuning, just I know that they had parts for the guns. Sorry for the confusion.
I will be getting a modified Rex .357 valve from Veradium some time in the next couple of weeks. Expecting a good power boost based on their results with the .25 valve.
-
Oh ok...no worries. Thanks for the clarification. 8)
I did go with your recommendation of Veradium Air, though. I'm excited to see their work.
-
Also, in case anyone was interested: during my convo with Brian, he did say that they've been tuning Senecas for about 5-6 years.
Just in case anyone was looking for a tuner for them.

They also have parts and do mods for the SPA Artemis guns and IIR most others.

I recall reading about that as well. Hoping for a positive experience. 8)
