American Legion Post 113, 8529 Smokey Hollow Road, Baldwinsville, New York 13027
Hard to find info on it, they do not do a great job getting the word out.

Emailed the organizer, it is most certainly still on. Has not been one for 2 years due to covid, so should be plenty of stuff!

Am I to assume you will be wearing a GTA hat? I will look for you. There will be guy from Slingshot forum there with a table he (said he is a tall guy tattooed and wearing a bandana) is sharing with a friend (heck maybe he is you, or you are the friend), I will be looking for him also.

I'm planning on being there Friday morning. Contemplated getting a table myself but really only planning on being there Friday. Hopefully there will be some nice Springer s available.
See you Friday.

Bangor PA, that will be quite a ride. If you are staying around here, there is a big garage sale Sat and Sun. A 50 mile garage sale, if you like that sort of thing.

Wonder how the airgun show is going? I am heading over there first thing this morning.
-
We need pics!

Pretty slow when I was there. Almost bought a Quackenbush but didn't really have the money for it. Should have packed up my Bulldog and Hammer to show off at the outside shooting area.
I was hoping someone might have had some GX or Tuxing compressors, probably would have brought one home.

Sorry, did not think of pics. My Bad. I met DanD, and Stringslap from Slingshot forum. Bought a Daisy 499, probably over 30 years old, in a box from a gentlemen in the Utica area who was/is invoved in the junior marksmanship program there. Saw a lot of nice guns, range of ages and prices.

This was the first B'ville show since 2019 and although it wasn't as hopping as previous years, it was still a good time with plenty of buying and selling. It was fun to yuck it up with old show regulars, see Sammi again (he should smack me if I don't get his name straight next year,) and meet wepster. I missed my friend Dave Lee whom I met at my 1st show around 2004 and who passed away this January, but I was glad to see his guns move on to new people that will care for them and enjoy them.
A special treat was that Kevin Hull and his son (maukev on ebay) came with several tables full of Jan Kraner custom HWs, FWB 124/127s, and a few magnum Theobens. They said they sold (and bought) enough to travel back next year, which is great news because they buy out collections all over the country and come across some great stuff.
I brought around 30 guns to the show and sold 8. I bought a 56-57? Benji 312, a '76 Blue Streak, and a CR130 pistol in box, as well as some pellets, a slingshot, a telescope finderscope, and a couple pocket knives.
It was a good show and I'm looking forward to next year. Sorry I didn't get pics....

Can I ask what model and how much the Quakenbush was? That way I can kick myself a little harder for not going to the show. ;D

Turns out my wife took a pic of my table early on. I kept changing things on it because I had more guns than space.

Not entirely certain which model, it was a long barrel pistol in 45 with asking price of $900. Said he bought 3 of them and one was his keeper with a stock to make it a carbine. Was the table behind DanD so maybe he can get you in touch. I'm guessing $850 would have brought it home, but still a little more than I wanted to spend. He also said it was recently resealed and ready to go. Was holding air when I saw it.

An Outlaw pistol no doubt. Dennis made them in .25 .308 9mm and .45 caliber.
$900 is a good price but not something I can currently entertain. Mostly asking out of curiosity. I have been a fan of Dennis' work for a very long time and hope to own one before he retires.

Hey DanD and Wepster, it was great to meet you guys. Got a sweet Diana 36 (.177) from DanD.

Ah, the Slingshot Forum member known as StringSlap! Welcome! You have some fellow Long Islanders here!

I arrived to the show on Friday at about 11:15, and only spent about an hour or so there. After hearing about this show for years when I lived in NJ, and knowing a couple buddies that have attended years ago, I was kind of surprised that it wasn't as big as I imagined it would be. Maybe that was because I got there so early on the first day, and possibly everyone had not yet set up their tables.
I wanted to get some parts, specifically a barrel band for my AV Avenger, and a barrel band for my QB78, but no luck with either of those. I did spend some time talking to a guy named John that had a lot of 10 meter pistols, and a few rifles, some neat stuff there. Also spoke with a guy from the local program, apparently one of the organizers based on the questions he asked about how we heard of the show. He had boxes and boxes of assorted BB-guns, I almost bought a Daisy lever gun, kinda like the 1894, but didn't, and I do kind of regret that.
We also took a drive to the boat show on Skaneateles that another poster referenced, which was pretty neat. Overall a good day, and enjoyed the trip, but didn't bring home any new stuff to play with.

I live about 30 minutes away from the show and went there on Saturday. I brought just enough cash to get in and have a snack... (Know thyself)
It was a pleasure going from table to table and chatting with the sellers. Truly a great bunch of guys (and a few gals). I ended up meeting someone local who was the father of someone I graduated with from high school which was pretty cool.
I did make contact with a seller from Ulster County, NY who had a cricket .177 for sale. I don't need to add this to my collection, but I do have plans to sell one of my .22s and make room for a .177. Those smaller "kalibr" crickets seem to be pretty rare.
Thanks to everyone who worked hard to put the show on 8)

I'm about 3 hours south, I couldn't make it this year but plan on going to the next one.

I went for an hour. Neat stuff they had there as always.
Perfect day for it too.
