Title: Daisy 25 question
Post by: Matchstickshooter on July 20, 2022, 07:38:37 PM
My brother just gave me his deceased F-I-L's Daisy 25.   Pumps and shoots.
It has a plastic stock and foregrip.  Stock needs replacing, a little loose.
Instead of engraving, it looks like a duck hunting scene painted in white.
Can I get a stock for this?  Any idea what year?

Thanks in advance.

While I am not a Daisy expert, I have found the Daisy Talk site to be of great help and several of these folks are here.
Here's a couple of posts that may give you info:

Put my thinking cap on, and worked on the stock today.

I have it all nice and tight now,  even when pumping.  ;D ;D ;D

Good luck with it…My newer 25 can hit a tin can @ 30 yards with just a bit of hold over…for me I think its all due to the increased LOP with the ARR stock…course no expert…had I gotten the BB guns first ,,I dont know what my collection would/wouldnt look like…as the shear joy of killing cans sure takes the edge off of being an old man…and they could have been all the shooters I needed,,,,lol..Enjoy…

Just got an email from daisy…
Thank you for contacting Daisy.  From 1936-1957 the Model 25 had an engraved receiver with gold paint filled.

When I was a Kid around 1952..neighbor had one…envy of all of us
