I just bought one from this guy and it came with no issues what so ever and looked brand new. Check it out and get one while supplies last. https://www.ebay.com/itm/394139635907?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=MiFfCWzORrS&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=26AF5C3PQWC&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY (https://www.ebay.com/itm/394139635907?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=MiFfCWzORrS&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=26AF5C3PQWC&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY)

Looks..ender cloneish. Please do keep us posted. That price is nice for a working 3D printer... buy two ! I am curious if it slices with Cura or something proprietary. I am excited for you. I will be watching this one.
-
Its not a clone anycubic is a great brand of 3D printers and the Vyper is awesome and many steps above my Creality Ender 3 v2. I use Cura right now and the settings are already preloaded in Cura for the Vyper in the Printer drop down window. GET ONE QUICK before they are gone. I plan on buying 2 more myself.
-
Travis..
I wonder why someone would have more than 10 of these used for sale.
Do you think some company or school is upgrading?
Or maybe even going out of business?
-
store returns and some are display models.
-
Well my son's and I have been wanting to try 3D printing and this looks like it might be good starting point, So here goes hope it works.

If you have any questions just ask.
-
Ordered one been wanting 2 printers will be fun to see how it compares side x side to my old ender.
-
Don’t know why but I ordered one also.
-
I have been really happy with my stable of Anycubic machines. That's a great price! If I hadn't just bought another Mega S a couple weeks ago I would probably buy one of these to try out.
-
The Print quality is great and the best bed leveling system I'm have ever used that's for sure.

Got mine yesterday, it would not see the files on the micro sd card but my computer could see them today I dug through my old sd cards and found a 2gb card formated it in fat 32 copied the owl.gcode to the root no folders and printed great. I can see a steep learning curve ahead ;)

Thanks for that that is the main reason I picked this printer and listened to You and Travis, I'm kind of an old dog to be learning these new tricks but hey I'm retired and have pretty good health and still somewhat computer literate for a guy my age. Used to build em in the 90's beta tested for Microsoft for about 10 yrs.

You guys are killing me! I have on clue about 3D printing but it sounds interesting. I remember a car my wife and I saw a few years ago at the Los Angeles car show, it was supposedly 3D printed.
The description has "Support Filaments: PLA, TPU, ABS, PETG, Wood" ! Wood?
I'm afraid this is another rabbit hole I'm about to jump into... head first!
-
Before getting a 3d printer one can play with the design software, here is a quick overview of a few to check out to see if 3D is for thee .

I thought I had your number but I don't. I wanted to call you and compare what we both received.
I got a brand new unit this may have been an open box but never removed until tonight. Its only missing the tool kit. Its even in the OG box because all the old shipping labels have be CUT off.
WAIT I'm wrong the tool kit is in the drawer wow. I had to print one of them for my ender 3. Im ordering another one right now.
-
OK! Gall durn it! I'm ordering one too!

Expect it in a week. I have a lot to do tomorrow but I am gonna try really hard to get a print off before I go to bed. I will just ham fist something just to see where I am at.
I mean just from the heft of this unit and the features I see its worth it. I would not have ordered a second with out testing it if I didnt think it was quality.
The only thing I don't like so far just from looking is the print nozzle it looks very proprietary.
-
Did you guys buy the $14.99 protection plan?
-
If anyone gets one and prints some test objects, I’d be interested in seeing the results.
-
One last question from an old dog trying to learn new tricks, does it come with any filament to test? If it doesn't, what should I get?
-
I did not get the protection plan and it dose come with a small sample of white filament.
-
what should I get?
You'll probably get as many suggestion as you would to "what pellet should I get?" ;)
The most popular being PLA and PETG. My printing is far from optimized but I get a little better detail with PLA and PETG is a little less likely to deform at higher temperatures (Hot sun, Hot car, etc.).
I recently made a shroud for my 2027. The main tube is carbon but all the internals and the front and back sights are PLA. I don't expect high temperatures to be a problem.
If you have Amazon prime, there are always deals on either material for under $20 a kg roll (which will last you a while).
-
I use black PETG Amazon overture or hatchbox.
-
Its together and doing the test print with the provided pla.
-
Overture pla pro is a great very durable pla filament and has been better than the other filaments I have tried. My experience is limited though. This stuff for me works best with a bed at 60 and nozzle at 220
-
I had pore results with pla in the sun not the same with PETG. It's close to abs but prints like pla. Abs stinks and loves heat.
I have not tried the pro but I heard it has better uv resistance.
-
Ok here is my first print with random setting and random filament and it turned out really good. I see all the flaws but they will be tuned out as I progress with PETG.
-
I now have the owl printing in PETG at a much larger size. Using what ever cura said ok that's your printer this is what we say will work. I will share that here then I will start a thread on what I do to make it do what I need it to do.
-
That seems like a reasonable first print. Congrats
-
Looking good.
-
PETG looks nicer but it was just a glance this morning.
-
I print PETG almost exclusively with great results.
-
Been so busy playing with the new printer toy heres pics of first real project.
The spool arm that comes on these is not very good this looks much better.
-
Thats neat.
Here is PETG owl. I am only showing what I think is the worst of the worst here because the rest just looks perfect. This is just here we go with no settings being tweaked.
-
Both the above prints look pretty darn good for a 200 dollar printer!!!
-
I know and with some slight tweaking they will preformed well beyond what I need. I now need to set up a bench so I can have my print farm going 2 of these and one ender 3. I don't know why I only have one customer that is a repeat and makes large orders occasionally.
