I got my new Springfield Armory M1 Carbine Co2 semi-auto BB repeater delivered recently. I test the 3 major brands of BB's in it. Crosman Copperhead, Daisy BB shot & Hornady Black Diamond. I also got a " real" M1 Carbine sling in tan with the oiler I also install on it. It felt great to finally get to shoot one, since both my Father and FIL carried one in WWII. My Father while fighting the Japanese as a Seabee while island hopping the Philippines building runways & Quonset huts, stacking supplies, etc. My FIL while chasing Rommel's Afrika Korp across North Africa into Sicily. So these rifles have a lot of meaning to me.

I had to shoot out the remaining Co2 yesterday. So, I loaded up 15 more Daisy BB's. Ran outta gas at 12 and the last couple bounced off the target. Slower rate of fire gave better results after learning this set of sights a bit more. Here's the results;

What kind of shot count are you getting per cartridge ?

Leo, what distance is that?

Yes I want to know as well.
I'm thinking of ordering one.
I am just trying to figure out first if it's good enought to justify the extra $99 for the wood furniture, then whatever it costs for a sling oiler and mag pouch.
