Post by: BenjiHunter on October 23, 2011, 07:44:32 PM
I just got me a Crosman 1377.
I will put a steel breech and a 14 inch .22 barrel on it as soon as possible.
Next will be a new stock.Home made.

Its a slippery slope.

check out the pumper forearm from the 2289 in OD green, its alot better fatter easier to pump.  Also the 2289 matching OD green stock is cheaper and they have matching pistol grips.

I like it.
Only one thing I don't like.
My freakin eyes wont let me shoot it accuartely with open sights. ;D
That's what getting old does, I  guess.  ;)

Yeah, it looks good.
I was thinking of transforming the Benjamin Trail stock to fit it.

Can anyone with a Trail measure the grip and post the dimensions?
I don't know if it's wide enought for the pistol grip.

Tom, where can you find these "OD Green" parts on the Crosman site or elsewhere??

Changed my mind.
I'll stick with the .177 caliber and buy a 1322 when they release it around Christmas.
It's going to be my "rat gun' so I don't need caliber .22.  :D

I don't think I ever saw a black stocked one...all I see is the light brown ones.

Parts list for 2289 rifle downloaded from Crosman website

Then call in the part numbers to the 1800 number to order

Your 1.24" is actually 1.5"
Your 2.38" is actually 4.0"
Your 1.38" is actually 1.75"

Edit: Oops, that's the back of your trigger guard, not the trigger so my 4.0" should be 3.5".

The inlet for the action is 3 cm wide.
Trigger-to-buttpad = 14".

Thank you!

Nope, the Trail grip is too small.
I have to rethink. ;D
Thanks again.

I bought one of these about a month ago and have a hundred or so rounds through it. We were walkin' through the sporting goods department of a Pueblo,Colorado WalMart and it caught my eye immediately. I had not seen a black stocked one before and it was on clearance so I bought it. I enjoy shooting it.. I usually use a 5 pump power setting which seems right for my short (between 6 and 7 meters) indoor range. As others have mentioned, the sights are pretty bad...no windage adjustment at all. I haven't tried flipping it..I never cared for a peepsight on a rifle and this one looks tiny in comparison.

You have windage adjustment but it's not exactly first class. :D

A question.
Do you do the same with this pistol as you do with other pumpers, always keep one or two pumps in it?
I put two pumps in it before putting it away.

I've always stored mine with two pumps before putting it away.
