It seems so long age that I posted the illness of Emma and her ( her and her family) need for prayers for her healing. This occured at the end of June just before the old GTA site crashed. Emma has been in the hospital for the last 2 months, But the Good News is that she came home yesterday 8-30-2010. This child was not expected to make it. The family had been called in to say thier goodbyes. She was in a coma for several weeks. Emma had a birthday a few weeks ago and is now 4 years of age. The disease attacked her brain and she is in re-hab to regain some of her function that she had before the illness struck. Basically she was set back to the function of an infant. But her family and friends are greatly encouraged by her progress. She has a long way to go but she is here and with her parents and family that love her.
I promised to let ya'll know of her progress for better or worse. Hopefully there will be nothing in her future except good things. No more tears.

Thanks for the update Mike. And please tell the family and Emma that her extended family has not forgotten her and will continue to pray for her complete and speedy recovery. The power of prayer makes MANY things possible.

I don't know if it was a miracle but I would never second-guess a successful outcome. This was a touching story and I am glad they are turning the corner with her. Little girls are special stuff, man.

Bless her little heart. Glad she is at least home and doing better. It breaks my heart as it does for alot of us here when a little one is so sick or ill. She is still in my thots and prayers....

She has the heart of a fighter and the Lord is surely looking down on her. We will continue to pray for her recovery. Ed
