Post by: Trealtree on April 21, 2022, 08:02:21 PM
Ok well i thought maybe i bit off more than i can handle with this re seal.  But i have everything taken apart and now trying to figure out how to actually re seal it.  I have a kit but no instructions. Is this the same part? New part on right used on left.

Looks like it is a replacement. Here is a link that shows the installation of the repair kit. Good luck.

It shoots fine now,  but won't hold air more than a few minutes.  Time to redo i suppose.

You'll get it.  They don't always seal up perfect on the first try.  Just keep plugging away at it.

Ride on,

Make sure the interior is as clean as you can make it, buff up the inlet and exhaust where the seals make contact and tighten the removable valve.
If it pumps and shoots but bleeds down I would check the tightness of the valve first. Saves from taking it down all the way.
