I powder coat for my powder burners (9mm,40, .223,.308) and I size them before powder coating. How do you guys size for air rifle slugs ; before or after powder coating ?

I size after I powder coat most of the time. It really depends on the situation.

I've been testing to size 0.001 under, then powder coat. So far this works. But I also size down to correct diameter, powder coat, and size again. Depends how far off they are. If they are right at size, Ill probably coat them and then size to cut the number of operations.

If I needed to resize more than .003", I would resize .002" before and then .001" after powder coating.
This prevented flaking of the coating and less effort to resize. I always resized after coating.
