a HW-97 and the HW-77.
-
The 77 has sights and a slightly lower comb. The 77 not 77K is longer. The 97K has a muzzle brake. Just cosmetic differences.

Yup as Jim Said. Same power plant. The 97K can also be ordered in a thumbhole stock. I also balieve the 77 has a smooth front stock. Only the grip is done. Here's a pic of my 97K.

also the length of pull from the pistol grip to the trigger is longer on the 77/77k models than on the 97's, the 97's have a shorter length to the trigger and it to me feels a whole lot better and more comfortable and easier to shoot than my 77k! :P

thanks guys!
I'm really liking the looks of the 97, but I'm hung on fit and feel. I don't have anyone within 500 or more miles from me that has these on hand for me to take hold of. I cant see paying that kind of money for a gun that i might not be comfortable shooting.

these gun's are heavy so keep this in mind but IMO the 97's have a better feel and balance over the 77's, I'm 5'11'' and 175lbs with average size hands and arm length and the 97 fits me like a glove! :P

I`m5`5" [and an old fart :-\!!!],but I found that my ambi-dexterous thumbhole version with pistol grip fits me fine;

Luv that gun Harry! :P

97K is nearly 9 pounds with a full size scope and mounts but... it has a moderate length of pull from butt to trigger and the stock/cheek-weld is better than the 77.
Unless you are really small, the 97K will work just fine and is scope ready (no iron sights). The triggers on both guns are Rekord and fully adjustable and the guns shoot lights-out, one of THE best spring guns made.
