Chet,
If you have a purchase receipt or if you have registered the scope with them on their website, they will send you a RMA # and you can send it back for replacement..

Hawke’s No Fault Warranty applies only to products purchased after January, 1 2018. Items purchased prior to January 1, 2018 are covered under Hawke’s original warranty, see your instruction booklet for details. Applies to the original owner only. Please retain your purchase receipt or you can register your purchase here.

Id guess what side of the date fence your scopes on?

https://us.hawkeoptics.com/hawke-no-fault-lifetime-warranty.html

I firured they had a no questions asked but it seems not. Unless that after 2018 date is one

Guys generly have no issue with them..

Not saying there great or better  like athlon only questions they ask is whats wrong with it and return address... For a example.

Honestly.. i think hawke will cover it fine.

I think if not they would of sent a reason of decline  or cost list, email  instead of just a rma# alone .

If you pay to send ot in thinkings alls good and then get hit with a decline or bill for repair. Thats dirty business to me. Like now you spent money to send it and then they hold it hostage..  lol...

First time I've heard an issue with their premium scopes.
You paid top dollar for it.  They should come through for you...

I seriously doubt it. I've returned scopes to them for warranty service and they either replaced it or upgraded me. Even without a receipt

I had no problem with them warranting my scope.

I've never had any issues with Hawke customer service. I simply called Hawke to get the RMA number and followed these instructions.........

 Hawke warranty

i did get my replacement to, surprised me i thought i would get an endurance in place of the endurance i sent in for repairs, they did send me a new scope in the same power, but it was the vantage, which is a lower end scope, should i call them or is this how the warranty works

Just make sure that it is "springer rated".  Not all Vantages are.

PS I thought the Endurance was one of their top of the line scopes from a few years ago.  Right up there with the Panorama Models.

I had a 4-12x50 AO Vantage and it "bellied up" on my .177 R9 tuned to about 13fpe. When I sent it in for repair the Hawke "tech guy" said that the scope wasn't recommended for 12fpe max springers.

They "did me good". Hawke recommended that the Hawke Airmax AO would be good for my R9 however the AMX reticle was "un-lighted" so i opted for the Hawke 5-15x50 Panorama AO and Hawke gave me credit for the Vantage wholesale cost toward the Panorama. After a few years the Panorama "went bad" so it was sent to Hawke and I learned that the Panorama was discontinued and couldn't be repaired. I opted to go with the 4-16x44 Hawke Airmax 30 SF Compact which I'm still using and I worked a similar deal where the wholesale price of the Panorama was discounted from the new AirMax.

HW95 with the replacement 4-16x44 Hawke Airmax 30 SF Compact.........

Anywhoo.......whenever I've had Hawke scope issues I've always had a satisfactory result as long as I first got a RMA number and followed the rules for return.

i am gonna ask about the Vortex Optics Diamondback Tactical First Focal Plane Riflescopes 4x16x44 scope, i might just sell the vantage, still in the box and i am afraid to put it on my r9. looking for opinions here, would i be happy with this vortex over the vantage. i think the vortex is going for 349.00

According to this Vortek page the parallax setting is 20 yards to infinity. Personally, I need a minimum parallax setting of 10 yards for my springers.

Send it back to Hawke and tell them you want to upgrade to an AirMax or higher scope.  The Airmax IS springer rated and liked by Nced and Bayman. ;D
Yes, pity about the Votex scope Diamond Back. :(  Great glass for the money.
