Checking to see if anyone else has any issue with there Xisico compressor. It seems to take longer to fill than it used to. To start, I've done the oil change and have cleaned the check valve at the bottom of the compressor but hasn't helped. When I install the dead head on the stock fill whip it takes the compressor about 30 sec to fill to 3000 psi. It also holds the pressure ok as it will bleed down very slowly but has always done this from new. I timed it this past weekend with my Dar 177. From about 110bar to 200bar it took the compressor 5min 30sec. Is it just me or does this seem like a long time for such a small air cylinder? Any feed back or suggestions are appreciated!

I had a Nardi do the same thing. At first it started filling slower then I noticed excess pressure in the crankcase. Mine was due to worn out rings.

It also always blows a bit of oil out of the air bleed tube at the bottom of the compressor.

Certainly not the same compressor by any means but my YH did the same thing when the second stage compressor rings were too worn to hold the pressure.

There is a reed valve in the very top head with the intake filter. Remove the head and clean the reed valve. It gets gummed up at times.

Thanks! Ive removed the small check valve with spring from the bottom and cleaned but not like that. Ill give it a shot to see if it speeds things up a bit!

Also, if you look at this guy's video list, he does a complete teardown in several different videos covering different sections. I added them to my YouTube playlist.
