Title: Blondie takes a grounder

Well my New (to me) B40 Blondie I got from fperez0209 in trade for my B30 finally got a kill here. Right after I finished up getting the B40 zeroed with different pellets (CPL 7.9) I set it aside to zero in the RAM for JSB exacts. I set out some feed for the birds and chippers in the front yard. About 15 minutes later I take a peek out front and there is this sneaky ground squirrel belly sliding around stuffing his pouches with everything. I loaded up the B40 and stuck the first lower mil dot on his head and let it fly. This squirrel did not move more than 1 inch and just laid there vibrating for about a minute then it was done. When I checked it over that pellet did exactly what I intended it to do. Right in the top of the brain pan and into the body. Out like a light.

Nice shooting and beautiful shooter! I'd love to get my hands on a B40.

@stilkikin, you should keep an eye open on the different classifieds and maybe post a wtb for a B40. Someone will put one up to fund a PCP buy and you could get lucky.

@Felix, wow you are making me miss that gun. It didn't start out pretty but sure dressed up nice after I got that chinese mud off the stock. Really is a great rifle, I hope you enjoy it.

Nice going on breaking in that "new" B40 on some ground squirrel.  Always nice to clear the place out of those things!
