What are good websites for IDing birds of all kinds. I need pictures. My priority would be West Coast birds, espicially those native to California.

Outside of the joy of airgunning, the biggest benefit of our hobby for me has been my new interest in birding. It's great. And, something to do that reflects the benefit of pesting as well as giving us something to so while we're waiting for a target.

Friends and guests are amazed by the wonderful wildlife I have in my back yard. Most of that is a function of reducing the sparrows and starlings. Well, that and feeding. :)

All great info, guys! I should probly maybe start a new topic for this next question but I'll try it here. What do you like in the way of birdwatching aids such as binoculars?

Well, I'm not your guy. I'm using a couple sets of the cheap $20 mini binoculars. Frankly, I'm ready for an upgrade, so I'll be watching with interest.
