Title: Blue Streak gift

I was recently gifted this Blue Streak. It was in sad condition. The stock was battered. Someone had been inside and kinda messed things up. Believe it or not, there was a nail, about 3/4 of an inch long, bent into an L shape that was in front of the bolt. Some screw missing. In place of some roll pins there were the shims for the sight and other stuff.

I refinished the stock and got a rebuild kit for Mac1. It took some messing with it but it now pumps and holds air over night. It surely is not a collectors item but it will work as a shooter. I am glad that I could salvage it.

Looks like you've got a perfectly good shooter there!   Congrats!

I like how a little sweat-investment raises the personal value.  I have a few that were thought to be beyond repair and I value them the most.

That's pretty cool to take something so beat and get it working well. The stock looks great!

DANG Rod... that is Beautiful!
Looks to be a SILVER Streak.. not a Blue..(unless you polished the blue off down the the brass)..  ;)
The Silvers are much more desirable.

No, Jesse, it is a Blue. It was already stripped to the brass when I got it. I started to paint it but the paint covered the makers markings as they were very light due to the previous sanding. So I just stripped my paint off and left it brass.
