Looking to reseal a Blue Streak. Need help. The pump cup looks like it is solidly attached. How do I go about removing it and attaching a new one? Any help is appreciated. Thanks
-
The cup and holder unscrew from the rod as an assembly. You can order a replacement holder from Precision Pellet or Mac1 that take the modern 392 pump cup.

There are three types of pump cup/seal assemblies. Earliest ones have a removable steel cup with molded-in seal that needs a new assembly to replace, second is a removable cup/seal with replaceable seal that can be dug or burned out, third is a non-removable steel cup with the replaceable seal.
The first two types have threads and a lock nut holding the cup to the rod; third type is welded and it sounds like this is what you have. If so, the seal can be removed with diligence and a new one snaps in place.

Thanks for the responses. Oldair gave me the information I need. This one is welded, so hopefully a replacement from Mack1 will just snap in.

Sounds like you could use the service manual.

Thank you, Scott. That is what I needed. I did not know how to remove and replace the old cup.

Guys, I don't know how my Repair Manual got on MediaFire but I asked them to remove it. It is a violation of copyright. If someone is in need of any of my works please send them to my Sheridan web site and I will be glad to help them out. Thank you. UJ
