Title: D54/56 trigger assembly
Post by: blackdiesel on February 10, 2022, 08:46:27 PM
Are there any third-party vendors that sell trigger assemblies that fit the D54 /56?

Do you want a third party vendor or a third party after market trigger assembly?  Chambers Airgun Spares in the UK sells Diana parts.  You do need to know which type trigger you have - T01, T05, or T06.  None are that difficult to work on.  Or do you just need some parts?

Maybe he's looking for upgrades. Set back curved/straight blades or one that has an adjustable shoe? Would love a straight and flat blade myself. Not aware of any though.

Well at Chambers the To6 trigger unit is cheaper than the To5 trigger until.

Good luck,

I believe he needs to know specifically which trigger, T01, T05, T06, or he could run into problems. The piston latch rod and trigger are a match, iow, a T05 trigger won't work with a T06 piston.

Yeah, the T0's are piston-specific, so unless one is going to switch the piston too, there is only one option. And as far as desireability goes, from what I've learned, the T01 can be adjusted into a fine trigger, as well as the T06 (so I've heard - haven't seen it yet, myself), but the T05 is a "safety-first" type of trigger that's no match to the older and newer versions.

I have two T05 trigger guns that have been tuned/modded to work as nicely as my T06 and Rekord triggers.
To the OP: best to attach a couple of pics of the complete trigger to the post so it can be identified. The T01 should be the easiest to identify.

Look at the serial number to give you an idea of the build date.  Easy to find what trigger were in use then.

I'm reasonably sure it's a T06.  The action is from a D56 and I'm sure it's a version made in the past couple of years.

I bought this for the D56 stock, but since it's a complete gun sans the trigger assembly, I think I'm going to drop the action into the unused D54 stock that I replaced.

"If you follow the forums closely, you would have noticed that I recently disassembled my Diana TH56 to install a Vortek kit, only to have it lock-up fully compressed.  While in the procedure of getting it to unlock, I damaged the trigger assembly, beyond repair.

The stock is 90%, like new except for one minor ding below the cheek piece and one ding where the pin came loose in the cocking arm (see photos).  The 56 Thumbhole stock will fit a 54.

Included is a brand new (just inserted) Vortek PG 4 HO kit and a Vortek PG 4 <12 ft lb kit.  All components are included except for the trigger group."
