Title: Beeman P17 Maintenance?
Post by: mwgm2020 on February 01, 2022, 06:26:21 PM
I've got about a thousand rounds through my new Beeman P17, and it is getting dirty and I'm starting to see a few flyers.

What do you guys do for regular maintenance?  Do you remove the barrel to clean it?  If so, how do you get it repositioned, so it is tight but not so tight to damage the o-ring?

I know about adding some Li grease to the tube and piston every tin.  I have done that with a calcium sulfonate grease made for sailboat winches, which gives better lubrication and is compatible with Li grease.

Also, what O-rings are you using to replace the originals?

Steve,
There are some good YouTube videos to answer your questions.
