Anyone have any information on RWS 3400?? selling for $179 at Airguns of Arizona that’s $100 off regular price. Is it a decent gun? Anyone have one?? Thanks

Don't let the brand and model confuse you - this is NOT a Diana product. I believe it's been discontinued and have no idea who supports warranty work or provides parts. Look real hard before you leap. It's probably Chinese.

It’s supposedly German insides, Italian stock, assembled in the good old USA

Been discussed here a few times.
Umetax and rws and all seem to parted ways awhile back and had a big closeout sale..
So ?

Thing is it maybe a good deal cause like with anything its eather a good one or it's not . That s any brand at any price. If it's a bad one you made be stuck being discontinued . Then it's not like your out $300+ eather..
Make sure aoa ain't selling it as is kinda a thing.
Funny aoa dont show any spec's on it just heres a gun.

The 3400 seems very similar to the Walther Terrus (same trigger) but with a nicer stock.
If the 3400 barrel is as good as my very accurate Terrus barrel, I'd say it's a decent gun.
Good luck!

I shouldered and looked over the rifle at AoA.... Seemed decent. Reminded me of an RWS 34. Stock was nice.
For the price point i think its a good buy...but, i didn't buy it.

I have had my RWS 3400 for 3 months now. I like it very much, and I’m still breaking it in. I’m almost through its first 500 pellets. It’s shooting H&N FTT 8.64gr. 4.52mm at 891 FPS 15.2 FPE and is very accurate. The trigger is “similar” to the Walther Terrus, it’s not all that heavy of a trigger pull, but it’s a long pull. I’ve adjusted the pull length as short as I can and I’m getting used to it. My Terrus is shooting AA Diablo Field 8.44gr. 4.52mm at 851 FPE for 13.5 FPE. I do like the stocks on both rifles, but really like the feel of the 3400. I don’t regret getting one at the AoA price one bit. The gun is solid. 8)
