Does anyone know if one of these has ever been made?
Would be a great practice unit to slowly work up to the smaller opening. Build up your confidence and then up the challenge when you are comfortable in doing so.
Trying to find something fun to do with my son here in the winter.

There are a few I know of one is some square tubing all 4 sides have a different size hole then there are the ones that have the bell behind a flat face then arms that drop down with different size holes in them.
-
You could drill a large hole in the plate to start with and then use a selection of different sized flat washers to gradually reduce the hole size.

I use something like this.

Easy to make. I'd post a picture, but it never works. Drill multiple size holes in a steel plate. Make a stand to hold the plate and use a circular saw blade behind the plate about two inches. I have two bell targets that I've used for several years.

Hey, it worked this time.

I have one of those multi flip down reducers in my yard, buried in snow, and didn't think of that.
Thanks guys. Now need to find more scrap at work and get something made

I like your idea Jonah and have given some thought to a similar idea.
My ringer is a 16" dia. disc plow, and the target face heavy rubber conveyer belt. Room on the face for many target holes.
I want to use it out side and hope to hear it from up to 90 yards. plan to mount it on a lawnmower for moving around the yard.
You are well ahead of me on this project actually using it, instead of just tripping over the parts.

You mean like these?
ABC Targets…
I have both sizes so….8 holes..
I mount mine in a box so they can be Ashly moved around…
I think Mike went out of business…
These are made of some very expensive materials…
-
Exactly like that Frank.
I had a nice piece of 303 stainless I had machined up a while ago... but it sat on my shelf for so long I think I tossed it. Of course I want to build a target now and don't have my face plate lol

I have used plumbing parts. A 1/2 inch floor flange will take a 1/4 reducer and a 1 inch will take a 1/2. So if you start with a 1 inch flange and two reducers you are at 1/4 and you have three options to shoot at. Mount it to wood and hang a bell behind it. Have fun.

Frank that was what I was trying to describe and was looking for them but could not find a websight for them.
-
His website is no longer.
I think I read somewhere he went out of business..

That is a shame because those look like really good quality targets.

The builder was Mike Edwards…

I remember looking for them too, I guess about 6 months ago or so. It looks like he is no longer in business.

Something like the Crosman dueling tree?
