Has anyone tried 30 cal polymags in the aea challenger? Do they cycle well or do the tips bind up and come apart? How's the accuracy. I've only shot the vortex pellets through mine with so so success. Wouldnt use the gun for target work. Any suggestions for slugs that you have used and performed well in the 30 challenger. This is a 32" barrel gun. I got it at a great price but I wish for better accuracy. It shoots way hot so I have the power adjusted down below sonic levels.

I'm not sure on the Polymags, but these should work just fine from what I have heard I got some of them from a member they are acceptable, but I think they get tilted in the bore. https://nielsenspecialtyammo.com/collections/30-cal/products/54-5-grain-175-count-300-slug-nsa
These are what I may try next https://nielsenspecialtyammo.com/collections/30-cal/products/61-5-grain-200-count-300-slug-nsa they look like they will ride the bore better, the best fit is 303 cal. Mr. Hollow point offers a 65 gr. IIR that is dead on.
Single shot trays are in the works from another member, and will allow longer projectiles.

I've not tried the Polymags, but the Hades are dead-on accurate in my Challenger. So are the 44 and 50 grain JSB and FX pellets. The Vortex aren't very accurate at all in mine, so don't judge your accuracy based on just shooting Vortex pellets!

Here is a 10 shot group with my 24" barrel, and my home cast NOE .30 cal. 60 gr pellet, they are about 1mm too long to work in a mag, but now I have the tooling to turn them down to fit exact.

Sad part is when the vortex pellets were on amazon for 8$ a tin I bought 10 tins. I've somehow got to plink through these before buying new stock. I'll give the jsb a shot. Hoping for some luck with heavy nsa slugs that I can shoot without power restrictions.
