Title: P-rod Bottled ... get to crunch the numbers after some final Tune-N-Tweaking

So yesterday took it back apart fitting a PEEK poppet & opened valves throat up a tad with smoothing up the transfer path. This allowed a tad less HST to be used for equal power and eased cocking a tad more by Readjusted SSG setting back at @ 800 fps.
While apart got a solid CC measurement on little bottle finding it @ 6cuin or @ 98cc.
Other day following a thread on getting 10 round M-rods mags to fit P-rods, applied that too.

Other day found out on a 3K fill shooting CPHP (14.3 wt) it had 53 perfectly consistent shoots ending at 1400 where set point is on regulator.  Today shot it a few times from 1400 down and had 6-7 more shots inside @ 12 FPS.
This for Field Use a Very Solid 60 shots !!!  * Tho for number crunching on Lloyds efficiency calculator we used 53 shots.

EFFICIENCY on the little carbine is a staggering 1.63 FPE/cuin per shot  8)  all the while trucking along at a tad over 20 FPE

Got me a Camp gun !!  Something small to stash away that is accurate enough to small game hunt as well plink for giggles.

Looks pretty good.
PRods are bunches of fun.
I am on my 2nd.
Should not have sold the first.
BStaley, .109tp and .041 X .300 X 1.5” spring.
24 shots just under 16fpe…
That aluminum billet cheek piece adds about 1 pound to the back.
I melted some lead bullets for the forearm to balance everything out… ;)

Wow!  Sounds like a fun little carbine!  I have a P-Rod I bought last year with an Exclusive side cocker breech installed.  Had some issues due to the previous owner not understanding how to properly install the breech, but a couple of members here helped me figure it out.  I've gone through it, but still have to finish cutting some icemaker tubing to create the TP. As soon as I get rehabbed from shoulder surgery, I plan to get back on it and start tuning.

What kind of accuracy are you getting with the CPHPs?  It appears you're using a different bbl than OEM?

Barrel is a 19" Crosman .22 that I'm told is an LW.  Machined the breech end for an o-ring.
Accuracy wise is excellent and just yesterday eve was out screwing around at @ 50 yards and dropping shot after shot on about a Quarters diameter sittin on a tri stool and shootin sticks.
FWIW ... My Taipan Mutant .22 also shoots CPHP's very very well.

That's a sweet little shooter.
A few mods and the Prod can really shine.
I have three now, one in 17 cal with Mod mags.
My latest with a Huma regulator.

10 round M-rod mag adapted.
4x Bushnell scope w/shade rounds it out nicely.

Miscalculated my earlier numbers.
With bStaley o-rings.
.109 tp
.300x.041X 1.5” spring…
HS 2CW
HT 0CW
2800-2000psi
14.3 gr chp
24 shots 701-752-717
Low = 701
High = 752
Avg = 735
FPE = 17.1
Good enough..

Handy little carbine you got there!

I have a 1701 that doesn't get much love these days, and I also have 8 or 9 ci tank too. I may try something similar.
