Title: Diana Chaser (Chinese made) .22 CO2
Post by: pelletpusher22 on January 16, 2022, 03:35:32 PM
Did some indoor shooting today with the Diana Chaser in .22 caliber.  The range was at 30 feet, using the supplied "irons".  My 56 year old eyes are not what they used to be, but it didn't turn out too bad.

I get from 55-60 shots from a 12 gram CO2 cylinder, and the trigger is really good for a pistol at this price point.  I would bet if I had a red dot on this thing, I could wring out some tighter groups.  When it's too cold to do any other shooting, I bust out the air pistols...trigger time is trigger time!

You see why I am a big fan of these guns whether branded Diana or the others, you get your monies worth for sure.  8)
Better shooting with open sights than I can usually muster!

Just received an Airbug this week.

Playing in the basement as well trying to tune it (mostly me) in.

Also have a Chaser and got an Airbug last month. For the price point, these really are great airguns.

My Chaser arrived yesterday and I put the Safepac on it right away. I'll open the TP and get a Stormrider hammer spring to increase the velocity a bit. I have a Bandit already so the target gun box is already checked off but the hunting rifle is still unfulfilled.

I wish I could answer your questions but I have been unable to locate a Stormrider spring and so I haven't opened the TP yet but I was just thinking about that today on my way home so I may yet just open it up one drill size.

I did buy a 66 sq ft carbon fiber bottle to tether the Chaser to while I play and tune it to the CPHP's. I plan on filling it to 3000 psi and add washers behind the hammer spring until I see the speeds increase.

Should be a fun game.  ;D ;D

I don't know yet, I'll take one step at a time and see what works best. I have to get hammers back from a buddy to see if a lighter hammer will reduce bounce.

I thought of lightening the hammer.no lath or mill but could be creative drilling. Is your chaser 22 or 177?I have seen posts that say 177 do not gain much from tp mod

If the hammer spring is attached to the spring guide it would reduce hammer bounce?
