Title: Flip Flopping
Post by: Nomadic Pirate on October 13, 2011, 12:57:56 AM
    :-\  :-\  :-\   just can't make up my mind.

Every 12 hours I think I did, but than I change  :D :D :D

I'm going back and forth between the Dragon Claw .500, a DAQ Bandit .495, and the Haley boomer Carbine .58

The shop in NY just wrote me back that they would pick up the shipping for the Bandit, so the DAQ is back on, the .58 Haley is just a Dream gun, I don't know how long the waiting list is.
Tha Claw .50 is the most basic, but a great value.

...man, What to do ?   ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Blaze the trail.

Buy the DC .50, and also a custom EPP/UG mold, and a light-medium weight mold to send to someone that is willing to cast and sell the slugs to you.  Or start casting yourself for that DC .50.......

I would love to have a DC .50, but only if I was already set-up for casting my own, with a custom .500 EPP/UG mold from Accurate Molds.  Seems getting ammo would in one way or another be a pain otherwise.

Hi,

Casting is great fun and gives you such a independed feeling and relieve not having to wait for supplies. It's like eating from your own garden.
I just use my former pellet lead from the backstop or collect lead used for roofs.
I install myself with the gear (take the 700 watt Lee) put my protective gear on and have a party.
In some spare time i size a few boxes.

good luck

Hmmmmm.
Big Bore Bob Dean had a nice Dragon Claw at the Roanoke show that he had worked some magic on.

You gonna keep us in suspense?

So I wanted a Bush Gun, I was tore between the Claw .500 a DAQ Bandit .495, Haley Boomer Carbine .58 and a DAQ Outlaw .452 ACP

After much considaretion I went for the .45 ACP, what I like about this gun is that the all package is under 5 pounds, with 2 Screws I can take the stock off and becomes a Backpack gun, I can use it both as Carbine and Pistol and the ACP round is very, very easy to find :)
