Title: The C362 is Made in the USA with globally sourced components
Post by: Troopermark111 on January 08, 2022, 05:36:04 PM
For those who have asked, Made in the USA with globally sourced components.
Taken from the bottom of the box.
There is no origin statement on the gun itself.

I think that the steel parts, trigger mecha, air tube, and most of the steel parts on the gun is probably manufactured here at Crosman, the stock, plastic parts are probably made in China where they're not worried about putting their pollution in the air as usual.  It sure would be nice if Crosman let the consumer know where all the globally sourced parts are from.  I'd say probably here in the U.S. and China would be my guess.  It's a shame that they have to print something like that on the box and not tell you where the parts to build the guns come from.

My guess is that it is a constantly changing blend.  The components that are sourced, probably go out to bid, to pre-qualified suppliers.  Probably more often during these covid times.

I’m actually surprised that a $100 retail gun can even be assembled in the USA, and it is NYS with a high tax burden.
