Hello all,
It is a little distracting trying to follow the various threads about the newly released Crosman C362 so I thought it would be nice to gather all of them in one thread. Each thread is important, each contains valuable information.

Cheers, happy shooting.

And the sad thing is, I can easily count the accuracy pictures on one hand.
I'm beginning to think it's a ploy to get me to buy one of these guns just to check accuracy... :o

Assuming my order from yesterday ships today, I might have some accuracy shots for you next Friday.
PA has them on backorder now, so who knows when I will actually get it.
Crosman, which is only about an hour away didn't want to ship to me. PA is following the laws, crosman is doing whatever they want I guess.

Not only count them on one hand, but have a few fingers left. I thought about buying one but I've been spending my money on 150's, at lest for now.

I only find an over all length mentioned. Anyone know what the actual barrel length is?
-
Did someone say 19.5?
I plan on going around 22" with mine. May even go with .177.... ;)
10 pumps and 22" .177 barrel should sling a 10.5 H&N Hunter down range pretty zippidy.
-
I’ll echo others … I’d be more tempted if it was available in .177 too.
-
Easy remedy if your going to order a steel breech. Just make sure the breech bolt is .177 and add a 24" barrel to the order for around $20. Chop it to desired length and put a nice crown on it which can be done with basic garage tools. I've done a boatload of hacksaw and hand drill chops... ;)
-
My post disappeared? I don't know. I like 22 even though I have a boatload of 177 pellets. Plus, I don't care about increase of power or speed, I just plink therefore I am.

Holy cow now I see why all I see when I come back to the forum are 362 this 362 that, it's way worse than the AEA threads have ever been ???
Well I just got done casting a pound of wads but I still need to weigh them yet, just by looking with my Optovisor they sure all look nice from what I seen.
this time I cleaned and polished the mold first and can really tell by how nice and shiny they all look. Usually I never bother polishing but it sure made a difference..
Tomorrow I'll cast another pound, gotta make sure I have enough for the Crosman 150s and the 362 when it gets here. 8)

Wayne... this gun is basement bargain price. Lots more folks can afford to get into it than even the $300 to $500 range guns. The other thing is that fact that they are 'lego' and sooooo much is already available with a tap of the paypal button and a few days eta. So it stands to reason that it's gonna get alot of traction.
In my World, there is nothing better than cheap guns shooting cheap pellets with authority and most of all, accuracy.
After all.... isn't that what brought us all together in the first place?
I think it was PA that just announced 2021 best selling of the top 20 pistols...
Guess who? the 1377. Go, figure

I do really like the AEA guns however it sure is nice to see Crosman come out with something I can honestly make use of and at a super reasonable price to boot. I did almost buy one of those 45 cals like you wanted however I wouldn't have any use for it until next deer season, who knows what they might have to offer in another 6 months 8)

Yep. my Air Speed rescued me from getting that gun. It had a slow leak and I didn't want to sell it like that. I finally came to the conclusion that I really have no use for a .45 and ammo would have been an adventure I'm not ready to embark on.
As for .177 pellets for this little project.... I got mountains of them.

Barrel length is 21"
Thanks
BTW... not complaining but, what was the major hold up in bringing these guns to market?
-
I have been waiting for this rifle for a long time...since before I built my 1322 XLT in 2013.. ;)... 2100b pump tube with 13xx valve volume...very near what this rifle is... the 362 has 1" more pump stroke... so less pumps for the same power...
so far have 2 ordered looks like they are getting here ~12th... One to leave totally stock...one for seeing how it does with a .177 Maxi barrel... Barrel volume is still less than the 21" .22 barrel...
21" .217 barrel is ~.78 ci in volume
26" .182 barrel is ~.7 ci in volume
so we have seen just under 16 fpe from the .22 stock 21 in barrel... well a .177 with same length would be about 2/3 of that... so about 10 fpe... wth a 26" .177 barrel should be able to add about 10 fps per inch of extra length so about 50 fps...so 10g @ 671 + 50 is about 721...
the longer barrels tend to help heavier pellets most so 12 fpe with 10.3g-10.5g is not unreasonable to expect...
so then after I have the first two will probably pick up a couple more to take apart to see about adding some valve volume...

LOL Kirby... I'm gonna follow the dedicated pumper crowd like you and Vigilandy right down the rabbit hole.

I did a search of military discounts through Crosman and there's quite a few they offer, wish that I would have checked it out prior to my order however because I could have gotten it up to 20% off along with free shipping as well. I'll definitely remember this because they just started honoring military discounts this year by the looks of it. I've noticed there's a lot of vendors that are offering military discounts these days, any time that I shop at Lowes I always get military parking as well as a 10% discount on the stuff that I buy 8)
-
Wayne, do you have a Military discount code for Crosman to share?
-
Scott I didn't write it down however where I found them was doing a duckduckgo search for Crosman Military Discounts.
