I still get great results from my Nikon EFR models... too bad they're no longer made. :(   Others will likely add their comments toward "any scope airgun rated" which makes sense, but still doesn't always end well.
I've tried a couple UTG models over the years and found them to be sufficient if you don't mind thicker reticles. One UTG 3-12 (can't recall exact model) that I had and sold to a neighbor is still going strong on his Hatsan 125 beast.
I've also used some Hawke Vantage models with good results, depends on the power of the rifle. For a high power gas ram it would benefit you to go with an etched reticle AirMax.
With any spring/gas ram air gun... best results always came with mounting the scope in a solid one-piece mount and keeping the reticle as close to centered as possible.  Others may chime in to use any quality set of rings and those too will likely perform well, I only respond with my experiences... good or bad.
Hope this helps.

Personal i just got tired of the scope chase.

I still use one on rare certain occasionally shooting, but more full time open sight . Kinda goes with the lesson of never buy a springer thay comes with out sight.

Anyway i got a athlon talos holding up. Lots of shots on a gamo igt.22 and some lite use on a r9..    its a heavy scope  vs most.

Put a Sportsmatch Dampa mount on it and any scope will last longer. On my R1 I have a $100 Hawke 3-9x40 Vantage mounted in a Dampa mount with no problems. That scope is only rated for 12 fpe and my R1 is making 19. My other choice is an Hawke Airmax. DVOR just had the 4-12x40 Airmax on sale for $148. That's a killer deal. It might still be available. I'd still put a Dampa mount under it if you can afford it. Typically I go with the Airmax on big springers. The Dampa mount gives you more options because it absorbs a lot of the recoil. My Rx1 had a Dampa mount and 4-12x40 Airmax with zero problems.

Good luck
Ron

The scopes I highly recommend are the Leapers UTG Swat Accushot built with the True Strength platform. They come with good mounts and I mount them on a picatinny rail or UTG adapter. Solid as rock and no problems. Lifetime warranty as well. I do have a Hawke Airmax mounted on a HW 97 but for me the reticle is too small.

No changed from a metal springer...may feel smoother with a gas ram, but the same kind of springer forces are at work on the scope/mount.

I'm running a UTG True Hunter 3-9x40 AO mildot model; on a Hector Medina accurized ZR mount; ran two discontinued UTG models before that that got up to about 1000 shots apiece before stuff started to go awry... Now that I have the ZR mount-there won't be any issues  :D

I'm running the MTC Cobra 2-9 scope on both of my gas ram guns.
One piece mounts, no problems. ;)

My gas ram Sig ASP20 wears a Hawke scope, and has been problem-free so far. That rifle does have some pretty good recoil....
