Hi.
I have a Cometa Fenix 400 springer in .25.
It likes the Baracuda Hunter 27.47's.
Does anyone know of another .25 pellet Cometa springers like?
Thank you, Matthew
It doesn't like any others that I've tried:
Field Target Trophy 20.06
Baracuda 30.86
RWS Super Dome 31
RWS Super H Point 25
Predator Polymag 26
Benjamin Dome 27.8 (hard antimony alloy)

I don't own one but I do have .25 caliber springers/gas rams, so I'm winging it here...lol. A lot probably depends also on what you're using them for.
Accurate target shooting? Pesting? Some of both?? Yardage you're shooting at or want to?? The heavier you get, the more drop to account for at
longer ranges.
While there are more options in .25 than something like .20, which only has 6, would appear you've tried most but there's a few left not on your list
that are still light enough to potentially work in a spring powered break barrel:
-JSB 25.39gr - They've shot well in every .25 I've tried them in.
-H&N Crow Magnum 26.23gr. I've only shot them out to 30 yards but accurate enough to be deadly on squirrels and 2 raccoons.
-Air Arms 25.4gr. Relabeled JSB Kings and at least for me shot the same.
-H&N Baracuda Hunter Extreme 28.24gr. Getting up there in weight but work well for me for short range pesting.
-Predator GTO 16.54gr. Lightest of the bunch and lead free but expensive since there's only 150 in a tin. Jury is still out for me but so far they haven't shot totally lousy...lol.
There are others but the ones I listed are the ones I have in my stash. Your mileage may well vary.

Steve.
I'd do short range target and pest with open sights. 25 yards max.
Thanks for the several excellent suggestions on pellets, and the reminder about drop.
The Cometa fenix .25 only pushes 16 ft lbs, so figuring drop will be vital.

I have a Hatsan Model 95 and Edge both in .25 that shoot right about 17fpe and an AirTact in .25 that shoots right at 20fpe with the JSB's
and why they were one I suggested. Hopefully one or even 2 of them will fit the bill for what you're looking for.
Most of my shooting is 30 yards or less so the .25's (I also have .177, .20 and .22) work very well for short range pesting.

I've found H&N Spitzkugels to be very accurate in my 3 .25s.
Good luck!
