im back to messing around with the 2240 and decided to make it a carbine.    mine has a 10" barrel, steel breech, mellon stock adaptor, tipman 98 adjustable stock, mellon air stripper( on the way), rb grips, red dot,ac custom extended probe and some other stuff

i have a hipac coming in soon and plan on bulking it.   should be a awsome little carbine for some of the thick places i hunt, the yard or if i just dont feel like carrying around the disco or m rod.  also thinking about getting a leapers bug buster scope.

i cant stop shooting it now. the stock made it much more fun to shoot.

awsome looking guns.  did you just buy the disco tube, valve, orings ect... to make the 2260/disco conversion? if so do you remember what it cost roughly? thinking of converting my 2260 eventually.

i dont have any pics of my 2240 carbine right now. should have all of my parts here this week besides the bulk fill stuff.

24" barrel Crosman steel breech,xtra barrel set screw, vented custom shroud
GMAC extended probe bolt, brass power adjuster, brass barrel band, brass muzzel brake (not installed)
B&A Boss bulk fill valve, bulk fill adaptor, 2 xtra screws added to pin the valve, polished trigger interfaces, trigger shoe, my version of a sear spring guide
Modified shoulder stock, threaded inserts installed for the ASA attachment, text removed from wrist area,SKS cheek piece (modified), bedliner finish, xtra screw added in bottom of grip to stabilize stock, CP on/off ASA,JDSAirman 3000/1400psi 13 cu inch bottle
Braided line, polished fittings, Screws replaced with allen heads.
Shown with a 4x32 now has a CP 4-16x40.

I'm not sure that I like the lenght, thinking of cutting it back to 18" barrel. It is very accurate at 24" though
Looking for a bipod to fit the GMAC barrel band, it has a 11mm dovetail on the bottom.

Valve is untouched since this is mainly a backyard plinker for me.

The rest is Don Cothran bead blasted stainless with a set of grips made by Joshua A.
I currently have a MellonAir aluminum LDC on it that I lightly sanded to get the finish closer to the matte stainless, but I don't have a current picture of that.

just got my hipac today. got to mess around with it a little and so far im liking it alot. still waiting for the mellon air, air stripper and i ordered a SS extended probe from him today.   only pumping it to 2000 psi until i get the steel probe, then im going to install the new seal for 2400 psi.  think im going to have to figure out how to install a more sturdy screw for the valve as well.   love messing around with this gun.
