Title: origin at 48 yards use H&N 21grain ,217 size

Hammer screwed all the way in with 1 turn out. High of 970 fps . checking penetration and the mushroomed slug was dug out of a tree at same distance. Like the slugs they shoot good.

Something must be wrong with mine I'm only getting 750, 800 max with those slugs.

I screwed the hammer spring in till wouldn’t cock then back it out 1 full turn. I probably wasn’t suppose to screw in that far I was pretty tight screwing it in that far.

Mine only had 2.5 turns and regardless for how tight you turn it in, with out  stripping the allen head you can cock it.
