Title: stoeger x20 trigger
Post by: stevemag on October 09, 2011, 12:45:23 AM
i posted about my  x20 experience here last week, part 2 is now up for everyone on the edge of their seats waiting to see what happened....
so the trigger reminds me of a double action revolver trigger, really by far the worst  i have ever had(unless of course it was on a revolver). Will a charliedatuna trigger make that much difference? It seems simple enough to change , i'm just cheap and dont want to spend the money if  the outcome is only marginal.
anyone put a crt-III in their x20, let me know what you think of it. i see that archer air has one as well, dont know if its a ctd trigger though

Yes i have and it makes a big difference.I have 3 stoegers and on  one i played with the stock trigger by polishing and messing with springs. It has many shots and the trigger is tollerable now and does well for me. the cdt trigger is worth every penny in about any gun imo.

CDT triggers make a huge difference in any weapon they are put in.

I put one in my Crosman Phantom and it is a different gun now.  Worth every cent.

I agree with the other member comment.  I have the X20s and was constantly "pulling" my shots,  I purchased the GRTIII for it (based on member comments) and now my shots are very repeatable.  I like the gun much more now and will keep it.  Well worth the money spent.   John
