I got the one of his .58 cal beast... worth every penny... shoots good... below 3000 PSI fill, I'm shooting a 286 grn round ball over 1000fps... got some 820 grn Mr. Hollowpoint bullets too... Kicks hard, soo loud you need hearing protection, but dang it is fun to shoot and always a conversation piece at the range... still breaking in mine, so accuracy testing will be done at a later date, but I heard some other people who have a Haley .58 are shooting about 1 inch 3 shot groups or better at 50 yards... and if you have a good scope this thing will shoot well past 100 yards... I love it... my next buy will be the new .72 cal/12 gauge beast at XP-airguns...

so you fill yours to 3000 psi ?
-
Over 630fpe is impressive.......with only a 3000psi fill it is VERY impressive!

Max fill pressure for the .58 is about 3800 psi, my tank was running low that day but was getting some really good velocities. At full pressure, the 820 grn Mr hollowpoint bullet shoots at about 700 fps... ALMOST 900 FPE!!! plenty of power. only con about the gun is that its heavy, I have a 30" barrel, and with scope, the rifle is probably pushing 14-15 lbs. Also, it takes about 50+ lbs force to cock and lock back the charging bolt. Fit and finish are excellent. very good bluing on the metal parts and I have a multi-color laminated sporter stock. At full pressure, you will get about 3 full power shots, then another say 3 usable shots for a round ball.

Dang....... you probably need the chrony to be 20 yards away to test that thing! The standard 10 feet away probably wouldn't cut it lol!

Get em you can't go wrong with captain "Jack"

Correction guys... my chrony results were a bit optomistic... I was actually getting about 900 fps with 286 grn. lead balls with 3000 psi fill... but gun shoots great nonetheless... gonna order a new chrony and get some new results soon
