Well, kinda bittersweet. When it got here upon inspection it had 2 significant dents on the top side of the shroud. Contacted the seller and of course they were't there before shipment and no insurance. I am trying to give the benifit of the doubt but still am a little miffed. Contacted AOA and about $ 100 for a new shroud. I have another monsoon that needed service and will be sending it out for repair and return. I pulled the shroud off of it and put it on the new to me monsoon. I will be getting pix and sighting her in tomorrow. I will update then.

Sorry to hear about that bit of misfortune, hopefully it will all get worked out. Look forward to seeing your new gun

Seems to me the seller should be liable for the shroud, he should have packed it well to begin with and also should have insured it.

I agree Paulie, but we are still in discussion and well throwing stones right now wont help any. Besides I already have the ball rolling for the replacement parts.

I will be adding sling bosses shortly and possibly a bipod.
If any one is interested the scope is a Blackhawk 3-15 x50 First Focal Plane Mildot, side parralax adj. 1 click = .1 mil. It is a rebadged Weaver Tactical scope. I will be getting another one shortly for the air ranger.

beautiful lumber. ;D pretty serious dings there. was the box damaged as well?
-
Thanks, the wood is so much nicer than the plastic stock. The box was not messed up at all. I am even using it to send in another gun for repair. A new shroud runs about a 100 so we will see.
-
no way to ding that shroud that badly and not damage the box. jmo ;D hope you get the other one fixed and all straightened out. ;D
-
I agree, just trying not to through stones till I can get this resolved with the seller.
-
yeah can't see those dings happening with noticeible marks on the box. Otherwise friggin beatiful gun.

Ran a few magizines through her this morning between a rough sight in and playing around. When the weather clears up enough I'll run her through the chrony from full till she don't shoot anymore.
