I finally got around to installing a seal kit in my newly acquired Feinwerkbau 601. I was amazed at how easy it was. I think I spent more time watching the repair videos than actually repairing it. One great thing about the 601 is every part is a perfect fit so there was very little fiddling around trying to get parts together. Unlike repairs I've done with daisys which are fiddly and frustrating. Anyways, I've shot it and it appears that the seal replacement was done correctly
However one big problem with the FWB is the trigger is amazingly nice. I'm not going to ever be satisfied with other guns now.

Precision German Engineering. That is why it needs to be rebuilt, tolerances are tight.
I spent a summer working in Germany. All the motorcycles gear heads were astounded that the HD's at the time could go 100K kms before a engine rebuild.
The BMW's could only go 60K km before needing one. ;D ;)

They must have been even more astounded at Japanese motorcycles.
