I have fired over 10,000 pellets through my FWB 300S in the last year and have not done any maintenance
what so ever! Is any tuning or lube ever necessary? Thanks.

Gary,
Other than full rebuilds on all of mine, I try to keep a drop of oil in the thumbstud on the cocking arm, and a lightweight grease on the latch ramp.

Gary,
I'm curious, do you count tins? I have no idea how many pellets I have shot in each of my airguns. No Idea... :-[ :-[ :-\

lI have one that I have owned for about 20 years - only 5-10 tins.. Bought from a guy who competed internationally with it who shot a Huge number of pellets.
I read somewhere, perhaps in Hector Medina post, that the FWB300 was designed for club shooting and that some have shot literally millions of pellets with little maintenance beyond a few drops of oil and and occasional bore cleaning.
I haven't done anything beyond the above and it keeps on putting them in the same hole whenever I do my part.
So just keep shooting it!!!

I keep the empty tins and this is the only pellet gun I shoot!

A guy at the range has a real beauty. He says that there is a little hole that you drop a drop or 2 on oil into. Something about keeping the wiper wet...

Any idea where that little hole is?

If I remember correctly, when you open the cocking lever it is on the top of the barrel/receiver.
However, I would ask one of the expert tuners around. Drop Motorhead or John on Pa a PM or e-mail. ;)
