Title: Target tree
Post by: A moron on September 09, 2021, 06:09:44 PM
Had some scrap disk blades so I through this together.   It aint fancy, but somthing new to shoot at ..lol.   I'll probably set it about 35/45 yards out.

I don't see the pellets  damaging these any time soon smacking that hardened steel  or me replacing or hammering them back straight..

Looks good to me. Bet they will ring when you hit them.

I thimk I got 2 more and whole uncut blades  they do resonate good. So I may use them as a 50+ yard gong.

If I put a bolt in the center hole loose seems to sound best. ( Like a big fire/school bell)

Just been too hot and wet here to do too much if anything at all.   Need a good Solid week of drought here bad. Real bad.

Got to test it some open sight 42yards

Had to go white paint cause black blended in the background with my poor ol' eyes.

Looks like I can shoot a beneficial owl better then a destructive squirrel..

Small bird head shots are tough .

And fan of here's no "ding". I guess I here mounted so I hey can't resonate to give a nice ring.
